With a twinkle in the eye and a wry perspective on women’s thoughts and feelings, Teater Manu presents a humorous guide to how the female body really works—from orgasm to childbirth, from childhood through menstruation, menopause, and plastic surgery, to the challenges of old age. An entertaining and enlightening experience awaits.

The book Kvinde, kend din krop by Danish author Kamilla Wargo Brekling was published in 1976 and quickly became known as the “feminist bible.” It was seen as a revolutionary call to support women’s self-worth and self-respect. Over the past 50 years, the text has gained an almost iconic status.

The theatre production Kvinne, kjenn din kropp has been staged numerous times. This is the first production translated into Norwegian Sign Language.
