Laila Hansen is a country artist from Eydehavn, a small town east of Arendal.
She grew up surrounded by music and a father who played most instruments.

She returned to music later in life, drawn especially to country — a genre where she found influences from pop, rock, jazz and traditionals.

Her debut album Never Again was released in 2004 to positive reviews, landing her a spot at the Breim Country Festival.

In 2013, she took the leap to Nashville to record her second album From Nashville With Love, released in 2015, featuring top American musicians.

Laila performs at venues from Haugesund to the Swedish border, and also enjoys playing for nursing homes and care facilities.

She has performed in Svalbard, Turkey, Denmark, mainland Spain, and six winters in Gran Canaria — as well as at Sørlandets Countryfestival and Sommernatt i Froland.

She plays solo as a troubadour but also with bands, and has opened for Vassendgutane and Rotløs.
