Mari Hauge is a singer-songwriter with a truly distinctive voice in the Norwegian music landscape. Known for her powerful lyrics, warmth, and humour, she is described as an exceptional storyteller and a rare artistic talent.

On 30 August, she will hold a release concert at Stavangeren for her new album, Hjerta går sin egen vei.
The album is deeply personal — drawing inspiration from her grandfather Alfred Hauge’s award-winning novel trilogy about the emigration to America. The result is a musical work that continues the story with honesty, presence, and artistic depth.

The album release and concert are supported by The Norwegian Fund for Lyricists, The Fund for Performing Artists, Stavanger Municipality, and Rogaland County Municipality.
