Nils is a worried little guy with round glasses who is terrified of fast speeds, gluten, and bacteria. He is also an expert in negative thinking and always imagines the worst-case scenario. When his cheerful and carefree classmate, Janne Marianne, invites the whole class to her birthday party, Nils is the only one who shows up.
His anxiety, insecurities, and allergies get in the way of both the birthday food and the games Janne Marianne has planned, and the birthday party turns out to be nothing like she had imagined. Despite being so different, Negative Nils and positive Janne Marianne may have more in common than they think, and perhaps they can learn from each other's differences. And maybe Nils isn’t as allergic to dust and gluten as he thought?
