Any introduction of Onklp is really superfluous. Whether it's VG or Dagbladet, rap fans, mothers-in-law, festival-goers or Securitas guards, everyone knows about OnklP. Everyone has an opinion. Everyone knows someone who knows someone who knows him.
On 6 December, OnklP will be releasing ‘My Brother’, the title track of the film about the Havnaa brothers, which premieres on Christmas Day. In addition, there is more exciting news from the Lillehammer rapper. Earlier this autumn, ‘Dirty Oppland’ returned with a SOLD-OUT Rockefeller and new music, to the delight of new and old fans.
OnklP has ruled the Norwegian hip hop scene for over two decades. He is an award-winning lyricist who has been praised to the skies by politicians and social leaders, as well as having an important voice in the social debate. He has won some of the most prestigious industry awards and has collaborated with some of the biggest names in Norwegian music, across all genres.
With his strong personality and honest lyrics, he has moved the Norwegian people both from the stage, through radio and on TV. OnklP is constantly evolving as an artist in new genres, concentrations and collaborations, and now he's standing on his own two feet again.
When the ever-energetic OnklP takes the stage again, it's with dedicated fans from all generations in the audience. He brings with him his enormous catalogue of songs, ranging in genre from the ‘Det kunne vært deg’ album (2004), via the OnklP & De Fjerne Slektningene album ‘Styggen på ryggen’ (2014), to brand new OnklP songs in 2025.
