The first certain traces of music in Norway are four bronze horns found at Revheim. Later, Gregorian chant and folk music were introduced, but what about pop?

In this theatre salon, Janne Stigen Drangsholt and Therese Eide delve into Norwegian pop history, taking a closer look at artists and lyrics from the 1960s to the present day.

For instance, why was it so important for Wenche Myhre to be young? What is the thematic focus of The September When's album "Mother, I’ve Been Kissed"? And why is Karpe so obsessed with crumpled fifty-krone bills?

All of this – and more – will be answered in Janne and Therese’s pop salon!
