The Oscar-winning film “Another Round” becomes theatre at Humorhuset Stavangeren
This autumn’s major production at Humorhuset Stavangeren is the stage version of the 2021 Oscar-winning film Another Round. On stage is a star-studded cast: Per Kjerstad, Ole Christoffer Ertvaag, Cato Skimten Storengen, and Rudi Bjørknes Gundersen. They bring celebration, colour, and life to the well-known story: Four secondary school teachers and friends test a theory that people are born with a blood alcohol level half a per mille too low. The idea is that alcohol unlocks personality and boosts creativity. The results are astonishing. Teaching and outcomes improve, and the friends feel alive again. But as the drinking continues, the experiment takes a positive turn for some – and goes completely off track for others.
