‘Alle fantastiske ting! is beautiful and unpretentious theatre - and Espen Hana is in great form,’ wrote Aftenbladet's reviewer after the premiere in January 2019, rolling a six. And now Espen is looking forward to embarking on another round of audience success, which he carries (almost) all by himself.
Join us in the story of a 7-year-old boy who is left in a hospital waiting room after his mother attempts suicide. Here, he begins to make a list of small and big things that he believes can help his mum rediscover the joy of life. A list of the things that make life worth living. All the wonderful things like ice cream and Kung Fu films, listening to Janis Joplin sing and laughing so hard that milk comes out of your nose. The list turns out to be a lifelong project. Many years and a thousand entries later, the list has taken on a life of its own, following the protagonist through difficult and happy periods in his life.
This warm, funny and intimate performance begins with the naïve approach to dealing with tragedy and transforms into a lifelong reminder that there is joy even in the seemingly insignificant - like things with stripes for example.
