In 2005, 36-year-old plumber Ronny Pøbel suddenly appeared out of nowhere in Oslo's rock scene. Ronny Pøbel made his mark and immediately caused a stir by declaring himself ‘Society Hater No. 1’, with the slogan ‘Føkk Døkk’. With the help of his good friends in Backstreet Girls, Ronny was able to realise his desire to start his own band where he could yell, scream and vent all his frustration and anger.

Since then, things have moved quickly. Lyrics and melodies that Ronny had had lying around for years were finalised with the help of Petter Baarli and Dan Thunderbird. After a lot of ups and downs, with x number of dissolutions and rejections of band members, this is the new band in RONNY PØBEL.
