The program spans from Bach to Lennon/McCartney, through Grieg, Norwegian folk tunes, and Sigmund’s own compositions. Naturally, it includes some of the most beloved harmonica classics, such as “The Svalbard Theme,” “Reodor’s Ballad,” and “Vårsøg.”
The two musicians have collaborated for over 35 years, performing concerts across much of the world, particularly in Asia and the United States, as well as on numerous album recordings. Waagaard is also in the spotlight with his new album, “Film Music for the Piano.”
The concert is enriched with stories and anecdotes from an exciting life on tour.
