ABOUT THE PERFORMANCE

The ballet Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs is based on the fairy tale by the Brothers Grimm, but stylistically it resembles a Disney film. The music for the ballet was composed by the Polish composer Bogdan Pawlowski.

This ballet will captivate both young and adult audiences. Everyone is invited to dive into a magical atmosphere filled with enchanting surprises, beautiful dancing, lively acting, stunning costumes and set design. The heartfelt love story brings warmth and joy to our hearts — and, as always, friendship, kindness and love triumph over evil.

The ballet premiered on the stage of the Taras Shevchenko National Opera and Ballet Theatre of Ukraine in Kyiv in 1975. It has since been performed in Kharkiv, Dnipro and Lviv, becoming one of the most beloved family productions in Ukraine.

Ukrainian artists — the principal dancers of Grand Kyiv Ballet — are now bringing this charming fairytale to life on stages across Scandinavia.
