Stavanger Rockfest takes place in Zetlitz on 3 and 4 October. There will be two stages inside Zetlitz and the Stavanger Concert Hall will turn the amplifiers up to 11 for two whole days!

The artists
Abbath was the frontman of Immortal, one of Norway's foremost black metal bands of all time. Few musicians have had as big an impact on the Norwegian extreme metal scene as the riff maestro, Abbath. He gives his all in his spectacular concerts, both visually and sonically. There is simply no stage personality like Abbath in modern extreme metal. Fronting the legendary Immortal for decades, the prolific artist has delivered black metal classics, played the biggest festivals in Europe and toured the world, both as a solo artist and as part of the iconic trio. Now Abbath continues his Return to the Raven Realms tour, bringing fans an updated setlist of Immortal classics from his time in the legendary band.

Honningbarna have been described as the country's best live band and recently released what is already being described as one of the best albums of the year. The band has maintained a blistering pace since they broke through the ranks as teenagers. Their first EP was released in 2010 and since then they have kept a firm grip on their audience. Honningbarna have released six albums and won Spellemann and P3 Gull awards. This year they have followed up with their seventh album, Soft Spot, where the dice rolls from critics and feedback from listeners surpass even the parade march from their previous release. ‘One of the best albums of the year’, “sparkling”, “their best work to date”, and “the quality is absolutely mind-blowing” are a few selected descriptions from reviewers. At the same time as the band has explored and continually developed their sound in the studio, an ever-increasing audience has found its way to the Honningbarna's home turf, the concerts.

Purified In Blood has been around for many years, and have been acclaimed nationally and internationally for solid performances, we look forward to seeing them in large format on home soil. After over a decade of silence, the unstoppable force Purified in Blood returned with their highly anticipated new album, ‘Primal Pulse Thunder’. An intense journey, where brutal hardcore elements merge with thunderous metal riffs.

Autonomie is a Thrash metal band from Stavanger/Hundvåg. They make a good mix between aggressive punk and old school thrash metal and after a large number of concerts in recent years, they have become a live band that really kicks ass!

Baest is a death metal band from Denmark, known for their old school death metal-inspired sound and energetic live shows. With clear references to bands like Morbid Angel, Entombed and Bloodbath, they combine brutality with technical precision. Baest has received international recognition and played at major festivals such as Copenhell and Roskilde.

The Clumps have quickly become an underground powerhouse to be reckoned with on the Norwegian rock scene. With their unique blend of alternative rock, grunge and elements of post-grunge and shoegaze, they have created a sound that is both raw and refreshing. Nostalgia and future in a package that's bursting with energy.

Daufødt is a Norwegian punk/hardcore band known for their intense energy, uncompromising style and clear feminist and political profile. In 2025, Daufødt will be touring the continent with concerts all over Europe to promote their new album, but fortunately they'll also be doing a few concerts in Norway. After touring Scandinavia several times at clubs and festivals such as Roskilde and Øyafestivalen, the band crawled into the basement and put together an album that combines the chaotic and violent with more catchy rock undertones - in familiar style. On this album, Daufødt takes the temperature of 2025 from a young adult's perspective. Their music balances chaos and control, with sharp lyrics and an extremely energetic stage presence that has made them one of the most exciting new bands in the Norwegian and European underground.

Eie stand out with their atmospheric and experimental approach to rock and pop.

Gothic grunge has been used to describe the music, but we'd say that this is music that encompasses more genres and is excellent live! Get ready for a concert full of musical and lyrical contrasts, where destructive relationships and uncritical idealisation of authority are thrown into the mix! The album ‘My Tongue Is Stuck to the Roof of My Mouth And That Is All I Can Think About’ was recently released and received very good feedback

You Know Who is a band that operates in the borderland between rock and punk, with heavy riffs and a sense of humour.Through a deep dive into 70s Detroit rock and the rock wave in Scandinavia in the 90s/00s, while they have helped themselves to the holy fountain of youth at 4.7% and turned the amplifiers up to a level that would make Spinal Tap proud. They have a desire to deliver a product that the middle class can deservedly open a cold one on Friday after a long week in the public sector.Members from various established bands make the project a kind of local supergroup within their genre. They have made a name for themselves in underground circles far beyond the country's borders.

Årabrot is an experimental rock band from Haugesund, known for their dark and artistic approach to sound and themes. For 20 years they have been chronically unpredictable, acutely impossible, eternally difficult and hellish to pigeonhole. There's hardly a genre that the band hasn't taken by surprise with their huge guitar amps and militant riffs. The band blends elements of noise rock, industrial music and avant-garde with theatrical vocals and deeply existential lyrics. Årabrot has received international critical acclaim and is recognised as one of Norway's most unique and uncompromising bands.

Stavanger Konserthus is looking forward to celebrating rock and metal when we gather for two days in Zetlitz this autumn!
