Welcome to Storhaug Country Festival, the first of its kind!

This is not just a country festival; it is the first of its genre in Storhaug. A perfect fit for those who love high-quality country music and for those curious about the genre.

The artists represent a blend of the new country vibe and the old guard, with concerts from early evening to an afterparty with a DJ late into the night. The day starts with a linedance course in the attic, open to everyone. The course is hosted by Wet Country from Bergen, true experts in the field. The dance you learn can be practised at the linedance club event after the concerts.

Which artists are performing?

An incredible lineup is set, featuring local, national, and international talent, topped with a legend who paved the way for the genre in Norway:

The man, the myth, the legend. Bjøro Håland is the grand old man of Norwegian country. He has released 23 albums, selling four million copies. His melodic country style, reminiscent of Jim Reeves, made him very popular. His greatest success came with his first Norwegian-language album, Bjøro Håland, featuring his most famous song, I Love Norwegian Country. Now 81, he still sings with a deep baritone voice.

Local talent: The incredible Dag Vagle and Camilla Rosenlund—pure quality in voice, lyrics, and authenticity. A must-have for this festival lineup.

Nationally renowned: Vilde Bye and Ole Kirkeng bring raw emotion, charm, and award-winning talent. A true coup for the festival—an experience not to be missed!

International star: Louisiana’s own Gill Landry, a former street musician turned country sensation, brings authentic American country music to Storhaug.
