Their distinctive fusion of driving electronic music and spoken-word texts—pushing the Norwegian language to its outer limits—has earned recognition across diverse scenes. The duo perform effortlessly in venues ranging from techno raves and poetry nights to theatres and literary festivals.
Each is active in his own field: Fredrik as a playwright and author, and Bendik as a techno DJ. In Baksaas+Høyer, they unite forces, meeting in melody and rhythm with the aim of creating deep connection. Experience them live at Strømklang on 28 August – an encounter between language and sound you won’t want to miss.
