Young Jazz Quartet – Concert in the Foyer
This exciting new quartet is made up of four young jazz musicians from the Sandnes/Stavanger area. While they are currently active in the music scenes of Oslo, Trondheim, and Stavanger, they now return to their roots—bringing their instruments and infectious joy of playing back home!

On 17 July, they invite you to a concert featuring some of their absolute favourite tunes from the American jazz tradition. The audience will hear both familiar and more obscure gems by legends such as Duke Ellington, Thelonious Monk, Bud Powell, and Jerome Kern. In addition, the quartet will perform original compositions rooted in classic jazz, but with a modern twist.
