Steinar Raknes and Unni Wilhelmsen have developed a musical chemistry that can only emerge through years of collaboration. The double bass is the only instrument, both on the album and on stage — but Raknes uses his 250-year-old Italian bass to create a unique and versatile soundscape.

Both Raknes and Wilhelmsen are artists with strong individual styles, and the contrast between them makes their interplay truly special. Framed by Raknes’ acoustic/electric double bass sounds, the concerts shift from intimate and acoustic moments to expansive, high-energy rock textures.
