Torbjørn Økland took the initiative in 1991 to form the group Vamp, alongside Øyvind Staveland and Jan Ingvar Toft.

Økland was the guitarist in Vamp for 23 years before stepping down in 2014 to establish himself as a highly skilled and sought-after musician for other artists.

In 2023, he released his first solo album, where he is both the vocalist, songwriter, and musician. The album "Alt det me va" received great reviews and led Økland on the road with his own band.

On April 10th, Torbjørn Økland will perform at Tungenes Lighthouse alongside his former Vamp colleague Jan Toft, with Halvor Lillesund on piano and accordion.

Jan Toft is a truly unique vocalist and artist with an extraordinary ability to communicate. Toft and Økland are a powerful duo who both move, impress, and entertain the audience.

The lighthouse is located in Randaberg, just a 15-minute drive from Stavanger.
