ABOUT THE CONCERT

Ten years after his last solo release, Tor Kvammen is back with new music. This time, with the highly anticipated debut album Beauty will save us, set for release on May 2nd, 2025. Alongside his newly composed band, the album will be performed in its entirety live for the first time to a larger audience.

Tor’s musical world spans from folk to indie pop, with emotional melodies, atmospheric vocal arrangements, and dreamy instrumental passages built around his distinctive and rare voice. Beauty will save us is a concept album about life as a journey of self-discovery. It begins inward, exploring the mysteries of the self and the quest for identity and self-recognition, before shifting outward, towards nature, meaning, and belonging. The journey culminates in a hopeful conclusion with the album’s closing track, “Beauty will save us.”

Sandnes is Tor’s hometown, and there was never any doubt that the release concert had to be held at Sandnes Kulturhus, where he has thrilled audiences with performances for years. He is now returning to the stage in the city’s main venue, and you are warmly invited!
