Zimmermann broke through on TikTok in the summer of 2022 with his acoustic guitar renditions of beloved Norwegian ballads. The 24-year-old singer-songwriter from Sandefjord crafts everything from dreamy and sentimental ballads to upbeat pop-rock tracks, creating a concert experience full of dynamic shifts and musical evolution. Storytelling is at the heart of his songwriting, evident in both his lyrics and performances.

He made his debut in November 2022 with the single Månen, which became the 5th most played Norwegian-language song on the radio in 2023. Since then, he has sold out Parkteatret in Oslo twice, appeared on Beat for Beat, opened Fjordfesten Festival in Sandefjord, and entered Norway’s Top 50 chart with his translation of Josefin—just to name a few highlights.

Zimmermann has since released seven more singles, including Renessanse, Griper etter halmstrå, and Ta med deg døra, as well as the Christmas EP Levende lys, which led to six sold-out Christmas concerts in Sandefjord and Oslo in 2023 and 2024.

This rising star is making waves, and we’re thrilled to welcome Zimmermann for his first-ever concert in Stavanger at Folken on May 30th.
