Bakernes Paradis

Unfortunately, Bakernes Paradis will be closed in summer 2024. The name Bakernes Paradis (Bakers' paradise), was given to the place on the basis of the stories that exist about the bakers' summer paradise. The unique summer café is located at the gateway to Ryfylke and the mighty Lysefjord. You can enjoy the local taste experiences, based on ingredients and traditions from Rogaland.

Visit the country shop at Reisehuset this summer with great crafts, local food products and freshly baked bread from GamlaVærket's bakery.

Feel free to spend the day at Bakernes Paradis. They have activities for both young and old. To name a few, you can swim, fish from the pier, find crabs at the water's edge, walk on stilts, cycle and build sandcastles in the sandbox. They even have garden games such as logs, croquet and bocce you can loan.
