Experience the beauty of Rogaland by bike, green tour.

This is a trip for normally fit trained couples or families / groups used to bicycles . There are a few EL-bikes available for ordering. The tour starts on Saturdays if you have my bicycles, but can start any day if you have your own bike. You get to see the magnificent Jæren, Høg Jæren and Lysefjorden with the majestic Preikestolen (the Pulpit Rock).

You get with you patch kit, pump, directions, GPS etc. For the tour. Bring swimsuits and towels to take a small bath if you wish. Packed lunches are also important to take away. There is much scenery but few dining places on the trip. It can be from 25 to 5 degrees C, so it is important to look at the weather report before you go.

Day 1.
You start on a great tour through Jærens coastal and rolling fields. Staying overnight at Bryne.

Day 2.
We travel over Høg Jæren with views of hilly landscape in front and the distant sea at our back. We overnight at Kronen Gaard hotel via Ålgård.

Day 3.
We proceed along small lakes and enters a narrow road with panoramic views over Høgsfjord. You take the ferry and continue to Jørpeland.

Day 4.
This is the day of good footwear. You take the bus up to Preikestolhytta and follow path up to the Preikestolen plateau.

Day 5.
Now it is clear for the heaviest leg, you will climb up to 604moh. But the bonus is an incredibly long downhill, and a wonderful boat ride under the Preikestolen.

Day 6.
Almost a rest day. You have the opportunity to visit Sandnes until you finish with SPA at Sola Beach Hotel.

Day 7.
This is the day for relaxation, or visit the Stavanger region.
