Fjord Cruise

Combine breathtaking nature with fresh seafood and local flavours on this full-day experience in Lysefjord.

Departing from Stavanger, you’ll cruise through one of Norway’s most iconic fjords before joining a hands-on fishing trip – and enjoying a meal you’ve helped catch and prepare, surrounded by spectacular fjord scenery.

From a fjord cruise to a fishing boat adventure

This tour is perfect for nature lovers and foodies alike. It starts with a silent, electric fjord cruise through Lysefjord, where you’ll pass by cascading waterfalls and the famous Pulpit Rock (Preikestolen). After the boat trip, you’ll transfer to a smaller fishing boat and head out on the fjord with a local guide, trying your luck at catching fish, crabs or even crayfish.

Preparing dinner with the catch of the day

The highlight? Preparing your own seafood meal at the Lysefjord-Helleren, a fjord restaurant by the water’s edge, only accessible by boat. With assistance from your guide, you’ll help cook a traditional Norwegian dinner using the day’s catch. End the meal with homemade waffles and local toppings before returning to Stavanger by minibus.

The tour includes:

Scenic electric fjord cruise from Stavanger

Guided fishing trip in a private boat

All fishing gear and warm clothing

Local guide with expert knowledge

Seafood cooking and dinner experience by the fjord

Traditional dessert (Norwegian waffles)
