The green bike rides in Sandnes are great for families. On the bike, explore the calm countryside with fantastic viewing points. The Melsheia route is one of the green routes.
A beautiful and varied tour that starts at Tronsholen and follows the cycle track to Bråsteinsvatnet lake. A recreation area good for swimming and fishing. Continue the tour to the Arboretum, with its 150 acres, 15 km of marked tracks - Norway's largest arboretum. There is more than 1,400 different species of trees and shrubs. Onwards, continue to Sviland and up Steinsfjellet mountain, and then you can go all the way back downhill through parts of Melshei and back to Tronsholen.
