Ever since 2006, Fjord Expedition has arranged green fjord kayak trips, kayak rentals, team building, outdoor food and experiences for guests. With a base at Forsand in the Lysefjord, near the Pulpit Rock and in Jørpeland, Fjord Expedition is a perfect starting point to explore the Lysefjord from the water.

Do you spend the night in Stavanger? No problem! Local bus no. 100 brings you to Jørpeland, the starting point for the kayak trip, in a fast and convenient way. Experience silence while paddling through deep fjords and the archipelago off Jørpeland.

Have you never paddled a kayak before? No problem either! The guide will teach you the necessary techniques and give you safety instructions so that you can learn to paddle playfully.

During the kayak trip, you learn all about nature and local history. It is also possible to order lunch with fresh salmon or to bring your own meal.

An overnight trip with a kayak is also among the possibilities. After approx. 4-5 hours of paddling, the camp is set up. Do you want to taste the fjord's fish? Then it is also possible to catch your own fish during the trip. It doesn't get any fresher!

When you arrive at the camp, the guide will prepare your meal - with fresh products and a Norwegian dessert.

After a good night's sleep, start the day calmly. A hearty breakfast gives you the energy to paddle back to Jørpeland in a good mood. You might even see rich wildlife along the way!

Feel the fresh and crisp autumn air and explore the forest together with Fjord Expedition. You can choose between looking for the best and tastiest mushrooms and blueberry picking in the forest.

In the hunt for the mushrooms, you get to experience the forest up close and explore the moist forest floor. After you have picked the mushrooms, you prepare a delicious meal together with the freshest ingredients. Apple juice included!

If you choose blueberry picking, you will look for large, juicy and sweet blueberries in the forest. During the tour, there will be a stop where you can try your hand at making your own jam! Of course, you keep your share of the 'catch'.

You can also rent a kayak and explore the fjord by yourself, either a single or a double kayak. This option is suited for the ones that already have experience paddling a kayak. All necessary gear is included, and it is also possible to rent camping equipment.

Do you like kayaking, but do you like stand-up paddling better? Fjord Expedition has paddleboards for rent too. Rent one for the day, and peacefully explore the coast.
