Galleri Perlemorstrand
The former trading place Ramsvig in Sjernaøyane is open in summer. The place is located in one of the region's warmest and most beautiful bays, also known as "Ryfylke's pearl". The hosts Mette and Jostein endeavour to maintain the reputation of this gem.
The art gallery Perlemorstrand is named after the novel by Alfred Hauge with the same name. When the gallery was first opened in 2003, it was with an exhibition of 40 watercolours by artist Kjell Pahr-Iversen portraying the novel Perlemorstrand. This collection is their permanent exhibition. During the season there are several sales exhibitions by local and national artists. The opening of the gallery takes place at the end of April every year.
