Gandsfjorden
The Gandsfjorden is the fjord from Stavanger to Sandnes town centre. The fjord is situated between the flat Jæren landscape to the west and and the highland to the east.
The contrasts are large with the mountain Dalsnuten (324 m) as the highest point. On the east side of the Gandsfjord, there are around 30 km of marked trails for hiking.
You will get a good impression of Gandsfjorden by train between Sandnes and Stavanger as the railway line is along the fjord.
