Discover Egersund Fayancemuseum – a colourful insight into the town's proud ceramic history, from craftsmanship and design to iconic tableware.

Egersund Fayancemuseum tells the story of Egersunds Fayancefabrik (1847-1979). The factory was founded in 1847 as "Egersunds Potteri". The founder, Johan Feyer, learned the art of pottery through studies in Newcastle upon Tyne. Feyer's factory soon became the largest producer of stoneware in Norway.
