Activity provider: Nor Aviation. For a truly memorable visit to this region, this 60 minutes tour is a must! Look down on the cities and harbours and follow the stunning fjords and mountains. Fly over Preikestolen – the world known Pulpit Rock, Kjerag – the rock wedged between the mountain walls and see Månefossen (waterfall). Friendly, experienced, and safety-certified pilots.

60 minutes trip with Nor Aviation: Månefossen (Pronounced Mo' neh fo' sen), or The Mån Falls, is the 9th largest waterfall in Norway (90 metres high), and the largest in Rogaland county. To get to the old farm at Mån above the falls by foot, it is a 60-80 minutes' hike in steep terrain from the parking lot, which you will also fly over. From here you will continue across the mountainridge towards Kjerag. Here you will see the geological formation shaped 10 000 years ago after the Ice Age. Kjerag or Kiragg is located in Lysefjorden, in Forsand municipality. Its highest point is 1 110 metres above sea level, but its northern drop to Lysefjorden attracts most visitors. The drop is 984 metres (3,228 ft) and it is also the site of Kjeragbolten, a 5 m³ stone located between two rocks. Kjerag is a popular hiking destination. Some go there because Preikestolen has become too crowded, some to jump onto Kjeragbolten and some BASE jumpers from all over the world go there to dive off the high cliffs. Then you continue out the 42 km long fjord towards Preikestolen passing Fløyrli with its famous 4444 stairs from sea level straight up. Continuing to Preikestolen, also known by the English translations of Preacher's Pulpit or Pulpit Rock, and by the old local name Hyvlatonnå ("the carpenter-plane's blade"), is a massive cliff 604 metres (1982 feet) above Lysefjorden, opposite the Kjerag plateau. The top of the cliff is approximately 25 by 25 metres (82 by 82 feet), almost flat, and is a famous tourist attraction in Norway. When you have viewed these three breathtaking places you will go over Stavanger harbour where you can see the old town, and the cruise ships, before landing back at the airport.

You can book this sightseeing trip also at the Stavanger tourist information office.

Price for 30 minutes trip with www.Noraviation.no:  1-5 people: NOK 7500 in total incl. transportation to and from the airport. DURATION: Approximately 30 minutes flying time
