The farm is as the only farm of its kind in Norway, reconstructed on the original archaeological site. The three houses have equipment and domestic utensils, and there is a fire burning on the original fireplaces. On the Iron Age Farm, you are greeted by the mistress and and the people on the farm.

You are welcome as a guest to the Iron Age farm. The fire is burning on the fireplace, and if you are lucky you get a taste of food cooked on the fireplace. It is a strange feeling to sit around the fireplace in the same manner as perhaps a family did 1500 years ago.
