Livsgledefestivalen (joy of life festival) at Bryne
Welcome to the festival Livsgledefestivalen (joy of life festival), a cultural event for the entire family in the southwest of the Stavanger region.
The festival, Livsgledefestivalen, is held at Bryne every year in week 10.
The festival started with the opening of the Fritz Røed Sculpture Park in 2004. Since then, the municipality has organised the celebrations together with partners from the entire local community.
The goal of the festival is to strengthen the focus on the joy of life in general and build on the idea upon which the Fritz Røed sculpture park was built, to be a source of happiness.
The festival conveys several expressions through all the events that have previously been during the festival, art, food, unity, nature, and the joy of life is celebrated both outside and inside, for the elderly and young.
