1. Facts about the race. Date: 19/08/2023 Start: at 0730 Lysebotn quay Distance: 62 km. Altitude: 3500 Surface: Asphalt in total approx. 11 km, gravel road in total approx. 5 km, terrain approx. 46 km. Max time to finish: 14.5 hours. At 2330 Maximum number of participants: 200 2. Start quota NOK: 1,690 Covers: -Planning, preparation and organization etc -Medal for all finishers - Everyone who starts gets a gift -Dropbag. -Food stations -Gel - Food in the target area -Other offers during the race - Parking at Forsand - Boat transport from Forsand to Lyseboten - Return transport from the finish area to the car park at Forsand for the runners. 3. Registration. By registering, you acknowledge that you have read and understood the race manual. Everyone who is 16 years old per start date can participate. Registration is binding. Refunds are not given on purchased tickets. Refunds are not given in the event of illness, injury, cancellation etc. Waiting lists are set up when unsubscribing the first person on the waiting list is contacted. 4. Trail description. Parking for the runners at Forsand. The parking lot will be marked and there will be parking attendants who will direct parking. More info will come 14 days before the race. Boat from Forsand to Lysebotn in the morning on race day. Departure at about 0600 at Forsand. Information about the exact departure time comes 14 days before the race The race starts at Lyseboten quay at 0730 and follows the road towards Ørnerede, approx. 7.5km on asphalt. At Ørneredet, you turn off the road and continue on the tourist path out to Kjeragbolten in hilly terrain. From Kjeragbolten, a tourist path follows over to Stordalen, further towards Lodervika, continues on the tourist path towards Flørli The path descends between Klubbatjørna and Stora Flørvannet continues to high ground and follows a construction road for approx. 2.3 km before turning left into the terrain and following the tourist path down to Flørli. Just before the Flørlistølen suspension bridge, the trail will cross, at crossing points, there will be trail guards. Down in Flørli, everyone gets a wristband that shows a passage down in Flørli From Flørli, the race continues up the Flørli stairs (4444 steps) to Ternevatnet. There you turn right over the pond and follow the Rallar path down towards the Flørlistølen suspension bridge. Just before the Flørlistølen suspension bridge, where the trail crosses, turn left and follow the tourist path towards Skåpet. There will be trail guards present. Over the mountain towards Skåpet, follow a tourist path, pass Skåpet and follow the path further down towards Vindalen to Tyrejuvet. In Tyrejuvet, one turns off to the right and follows the footpath past Stakklitjørna, further past Rundavatnet, and onto the old construction road towards Skrøylå. After about 2.5 km, you enter a dirt road that takes you further towards Skrøylå. From Skrøylå, the gravel road changes to the asphalted road for the last approx. 4 km to the finish in Eiane 5. Intermediate times. Is in the following places - The eagle's nest -Kjerag -Flørli - The top of the Flørli stairs 6. Lockout times. Is in the following places - The Øygerstølen. There will be an opportunity for a drop bag, one for Flørli and one for the finish area. The drop bag for Flørli is taken on board the boat when boarding at Forsand and placed in the designated place. The drop bag for the finish area is delivered at the car park at Forsand, there will be personnel where the bag is delivered. Drop bags from Flørli are picked up in the goal area. 8. Food stations. During the race, there will be several food stations with different selections. The food stations will be located at all intermediate times, apart from Kjerag. These contain a varied selection of drinks, sugar, salt, fruit and food 9. Security. Finish line. Is in Eiane. In case of cancellation of our events before the day of the event, the organizer can keep 50% of the starting amount to cover expenses. In the event of race cancellation due to suddenly occurring weather/climatic conditions or other force majeure, the organizer can retain the full starting fee. 18. Personnel information. By registering for our event, you agree that your name will be published in the start and result lists, which will also be posted on the web in searchable form, so that previous years' results can also be found. These lists may also contain information about age groups and club membership. Personal data and results will be stored in our database by the provisions of the Personal Data Act. 19. Use of situational images. Registration implies consent to situational photos of you being posted on our websites, Facebook and Instagram after the event. Such images will be included in our photo archive and could be the subject of similar reuse, for example in magazines and publications. Images can also be used in a commercial context. The images are used for and by newspapers, magazines and other third parties. When reselling images, the buyer is responsible for ensuring that the use is by the relevant regulations. 20. Insurance. All participants who sign up for the Lysefjorden Ultramarathon must know about the various dangers and risks this entails. The organizer is insured and cannot be held liable for any kind of damage that should occur in connection with the event. Damage means here: damage to persons and damage to things. The organizer has no responsibility for possible theft. With your registration, you confirm that I do not have or have had illnesses that can cause acute seizures, and I confirm that I am not under the influence of alcohol or other drugs during the event.
