A motorhome holiday in Norway can be great! Especially if you find these secluded places to park. Such as here, in Sokndal, close to the spectacular salmon river Sokndalselva.
The motorhome parking is located in nice surroundings, just near the river Sokndalselva. The river is a popular site for salmon fishing. A grocery store is also just next to the parking. You are in the middle of the small community of Hauge i Dalane, and only a few minutes by car from the protected community of Sogndalstrand.
FacilitiesThe parking offers outlets for electricity, emptying of the septic tank, wastewater, and access to clean water and potable water. The site is only meant for campervans and motorhomes. Caravans, combi campers, tents etc. are to find the nearest campsite.
Rules of conduct:Show good behaviour and be considerate of neighbours
Keep the noise level to a minimum. Quiet time from 11 pm. to 7 am.
Throw away garbage in designated bins
Damage and vandalism are not tolerated
Dogs are to be kept on a short leash
Use damage-free wire from the power box to the socket in the motorhome. The maximum length of cable is 25 m.
All motorhomes should be equipped with a fire extinguisher
The emptying station must be left clean and tidy
