Stavanger Day Trip: Via Ferrata, Fjords and Waterfalls

Climb and boulder your way through Northern Europe's largest boulder field, hike to the region's largest waterfall, and experience Norwegian fjords, local culture, and history, all in one day!

After a scenic drive by the beautiful Frafjord, you will hike a short but steep climb to the breathtaking Månafossen (the region's largest and most powerful waterfall). After the hike, you will enjoy a visit and lunch at Byrkjedalstunet. This historic dairy farm has been converted into a hotel and restaurant, features its very own candle factory, and has become one of the most important tourist destinations in the region.

There will be plenty of time to explore Byrkjedalstunet and learn about Norwegian culture and history. Afterward, the group will drive into the Magma UNESCO Global Geopark to Gloppedalsura, the site of a famous WWII battle, and take in the majestic cliffs as we via ferrata through the boulders - the ultimate natural escape room!
