Strandhuset at Ølberg - private event and wedding venue

Strandhuset offers modern and inspiring conference facilities, literally right on the beach. You can hardly get any closer to the sea without getting your feet wet. You can drive there in 20 minutes from Stavanger, 12 minutes from Sandnes city centre and 10 minutes from Stavanger Airport, Sola. Strandhuset is also not far from London, just a 1.5-hour flight away.

Here you can celebrate small and large events in unique surroundings whatever the weather. The Jæren beaches provide a beautiful setting for any event, especially weddings. The skilled chefs serve up delicious flavours and make sure your event will be a memory for life.

A wine cellar on the beach in Jæren? Yes, there is actually a wine cellar below sea level. Here, the noble drops are safely stored away from Jæren's weather and storms. The wine cellar provides a unique setting for smaller parties and gatherings, such as board meetings, theme nights or end-of-year celebrations.

In the same building, is the well-known and much-loved Ølbergkiosken. The kiosk is open from April to September and is always prepared with good soft drinks and other temptations.

Strandhuset på Ølberg (The beach house at Ølberg) is idyllically located at Ølberg beach. Here you step straight out of the car and straight onto the beach. Nearby you'll find the charming fishing harbour Ølberg Harbour, one of the few harbours left in the region with real fishermen.

The house is beachfront but still centrally located. Only 6 km from Stavanger Sola Airport, 12 km from Sandnes city centre and 19 km from Stavanger city centre.

Unfortunately, there is no public transport to Strandhuset. Car, taxi and bicycle are the best means of transport.

From Låven and Maskinhuset at Solastranden Gård there is a lovely walk along the seafront to Strandhuset. Get a taste of the Jæren beaches before heading into Strandhuset for a good meal. A perfect break activity for lunch, for example.
