The old trunk road between Hølland at Ogna and Hegrestad, constructed in 1840, is no longer in use. It was the first road built in Rogaland county to cater for use of vehicles. The road passes through a hilly landscape and forms a 7 km long stretch of the North Sea Cycle Route.
It was opened as a tour road in 1994 and along the road you will find information boards with about nature and culture.
Parking: Ognahallen, Ogna, Hegrestad near Hellvik. At Ogna follow signs to Hølland
Train to Hellvik or Ogna. Total lenght between the stations is 10 km.
