A delightful dive into music history

Hilde Hefte has had an idea for many years to highlight strong women from music history and let their stories shine on the concert stage.

On the theater stage, she has portrayed strong voices such as Edith Piaf, Billie Holiday, Janis Joplin, and Bessy Smith. Hilde herself has also been a strong voice in jazz for many years. She has released several albums and has a good fan base, especially in Europe, the USA, England, and Germany.

Now she has picked a handful of strong women whom she will bring to life through small stories and songs – women from different genres, but who nevertheless have more similarities than one might think.
