Bomuldsfabriken Kunsthall is Southern Norway's largest gallery for contemporary art. The former textile factory from 1898 is located in lovely surroundings next to the Langsæ lake and is within walking distance (1,5 km from the town centre).
The ground floor is used for temporary exhibitions, see bomuldsfabriken.no for what's on. The 1st floor contains the gallery's own, permanent, collection. Guided tours for groups by appointment, workshops for children and youths. Book café.
Open during exhibitions Tuesday-Sunday 12-16, Thursday until 18, Mondays closed.
