Eydehavn Museum
Eydehavn museum tells the story of the modern industrial place Eydehavn from the beginning in 1913 and up until the present day.
Eydehavn museum is located in Nesbyen at Eydehavn and is an industry and working man's museum. The museum's various exhibitions cover exciting subjects related to industry and community. The primary exhibition is meant to inform, and also to challenge in some areas.
The museum tells the story of the modern industrial place Eydehavn from the start in 1913 and up until the present day.
One apartment has been decorated as a workman's dwellings from the 1920s. The other premises contain exhibitions about the labour movement in the 20th century.
The exhibition "Maren's memories" show us daily life and celebration of holidays at the farm Helle at Neskilen from around 1900. The story is told with pictures, texts and artifacts.
The area where the museum is located, Nesbyen, is today an antiquarian special area.

Tuesday: 12:00-16:00
Thursday: 16:00-19:00
Closed on public holidays.
In the summer (end of June until mid-August):
Wednesday through Sunday: 11:00 - 15:00

Road 410 towards Eydehavn. Take the street Nesveien towards Eydehavn, parking at the square by Coop Prix. Bus: Line 101 from Arendal city center towards Eydehavn.
