Hiking and ski trails around Granestua

The trails around the Granestua area close to Arendal town in Southern Norway offer long and short trails in a large network, suitable for everyone. Around the lake by the cabin Granestua there is also a path perfect for prams and wheelchairs. The cabin is open Sundays between September and May, where you can buy cafe, waffles, mineral water and coffee.

Exit by the sign to Bjornes, east of Arendal, along the highway E18. A book with maps is sold at Granestua on Sundays. But the trails are well marked, so that maps won't even be necessary. The trails are also round trails getting you back where you started.
