Hillestad Holiday Center offers 6 spacious holiday homes with indoor swimming pools, beautifully located along the river.
There is also easy access to a playground, ski trails, hiking areas, and Hillestad Gallery. The holiday homes include a kitchen, living room, TV room, 5 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms (one with a sauna), a pool room with a hot tub, and a 15 sqm swimming pool (including a 1 sqm section designed for children). In addition to the indoor pool, which is sure to be a hit with the kids, guests can enjoy swimming at a family-friendly beach or take a dip in the waterfall.
Nearby, rowboats are available for free use, and there are excellent fishing opportunities. All cabins are regularly maintained to ensure a great experience.
Hillestad Gallery, located just 1 km away, features rotating exhibitions, a shop, and a café, as well as the reception for the holiday center. The gallery area also offers a playground and a barbecue area.
Hillestad Holiday Center is a great starting point for the Top 20 hikes in Åmli and is only 7 km from groomed ski trails and fishing opportunities at Hillestadheia. The holiday center also rents out a few private, spacious cabins in Hillestadheia, close to hiking and cross-country skiing trails.
