Merdø Kro

Cafe on idyllic Merdø island, free of cars and the hustle and bustle of city life. Here you can enjoy a light lunch or just coffee and ice cream or an ice cold beer from the beginning of July until mid-August from noon to 6 pm.

Take a swim on the two sandy beaches, visit the little museum Merdøgaard or take a stroll on the narrow paths on the island to Gravane (old graveyard), Loshytta (pilots cabin) on topp of the island and admire the two lighthouses in the distance.

It is possible to book a table or book for a whole party (own menue) for up until 80 pax during the summer season (in outdoor tent). During the cold season we can arrange parties, dinners inside for max 30 pax. 

Spring: If the ferries are operative the café is open on weekends from the end of May and in June as wel. See their facebookpage for updated info.

Dersom fergene kjører, holder de åpent helger fra slutten av mai og i juni frem til skoleferien (lørdag og søndag kl 12-18). Dette blir annonsert på Facebook-siden til Merdø Kro.
