The Tjenna Light Trail on Tromøy
The light trail at Tjenna is one of Tromøy's most popular walking areas – an easily accessible and beautiful place to enjoy nature all year round.
The 2.2 km circular trail winds through gentle forest terrain with a mix of trees, a small stream, and open landscapes. It’s perfect for a family outing in the fresh air, a peaceful evening walk, or a refreshing jog. Along the way, you’ll find benches and small resting spots.
The trail is suitable for everyone, regardless of age or fitness level. When there’s snow, it’s also prepared for skiing – with just enough hills for those who want a good workout, and a manageable distance for families or anyone who prefers a shorter trip.
