Hesnes Garden Centre and Café

At Hesnes Nursery, just outside the center of Grimstad, they grow vegetables, fruits, berries, and flowers in many varieties. These are sold in the farm shop, which also offers interior decor and local art.

In the nursery shop, you’ll find fresh vegetables, herbs, dressings, olives, and more. Among other things, they offer over 25 different varieties of tomatoes. The tomatoes are especially popular—children enjoy them like candy on the weekends. The nursery also has a wide selection of vegetables suited for the Nordic climate, including purple, green, orange, and traditional white cauliflower.

In May and June, you can buy a wide selection of beautiful summer flowers. The shop also sells other local products, such as honey from Hesnesøya and homemade ice cream from the Hesnes Nursery kitchen. The farm shop also features elegant interior items and artwork created by local artists.

Hesnes Kjøkken has a café next door, serving light meals and homemade products.
Hesnes Kjøkken also offers catering, courses and conferences, and a function room for up to 65 people.
