Henrik Ibsen’s "Terje Vigen" is a popular and beloved poem. This epic work is based on stories from Southern Norway during the Napoleonic Wars. Henrik Ibsen spent six years of his youth in Grimstad – years that inspired his dramatic story about Terje Vigen.
