Gimle Gård in Kristiansand is open in the summer Thursday to Sunday, 11 am-3 pm, from June 26 to August 10, 2025.

We have guided tours every hour, with the last tour at 2 pm. Here, we tell about life at Gimle Gård for the five generations who have lived there.

Gimle today stands as a unique manor house, which tells the story of political, cultural and social movements and events over the past 200 years. The stately main house is surrounded by an English landscape park and is co-located with the Natural History Museum and Botanical Garden - University of Agder.
