M/B Høllen charter boat

M / B Høllen takes up to 63 people on a boat trip in one of Norway's most idyllic nature areas, Søgneskjærgården.

We recommend a visit to the archipelago Ny Hellesund. Explore the recreation areas in Olavsundet with great swimming opportunities, the nature trail on Kapelløya and the coastal fort from the Second World War on Helgøya.

The boat can accommodate up to 63 people, has a large patio and is approved for transport by wheelchair users.

In 2021, the operation was taken over by Bragdøya Kystlag.

The story of M / B Høllen
M / B Høllen was built at the now closed shipyard, Bentsen and sons Mekaniskeverksted, in Ny-Hellesund in 1967 as building no. 15. It was constructed in such a way that it would cover all the different needs the harbor and the surrounding islands needed. Passenger transport, icebreaking, mail, delivery of goods and ambulance. The boat ran between Borøya, Skarpøya and Ny-Hellesund for 51 years before the route was taken over by another operator in 2018. Apart from small changes / adaptations, the boat is unique in that it is the only one of its kind and almost authentic.
