Morhommer is a small summit/viewpoint nearby Birkeland centre. View over the district, Flakk waterfall, Lake Berse and Flakksvann.
The path starts by Birkeland School, it goes round the southern end of Valtjønn Lake and passes through Tøane housing estate to the top. Until World war 2 Morhommer was used as a place for celebrating different events such as our national day, New Years Eve 2000 was celebrated here, more than 500 people took part and a huge fire was lit.
Starting point - Tøane estate is located to the south of Birkeland towards Tveide. Recommended parking by the sports centre near the schools.
