Kristiansand Teater (Theater) is a cultural center in Kristiansand filled with music, theater, literature, art and debate.

Here you will also find a cafe, restaurant and bar.

About Teateret in Kristiansand
Gamle Kristiansand Teater is the old building for Agder Teater (now Kilden Teater), and reopened in September 2018 as a culture house in Kristiansand.

Today's building is the third on this spot. The first was lost in the big city fire in 1892, the second was condemned and had to be demolished in 1966. The building that now stands there was opened in September 1976.

The building's facade is decorated with a wall relief by Henrik Finne. The building was designed by architect Hans Paasche Thorne.
