Synnøve Caspari is a Southern Norwegian artist from the picturesque village of Svinør. In this exhibition, she captures the spirit of Sørlandet through paintings of landscapes, flowers, and people, all aiming to evoke a sense of calm, joy, and harmony.

Her impressionistic style emphasizes aesthetics over detail, rooted in the belief that beauty is a vital human need. For Synnøve, aesthetics are a sensory experience, with colors and lines that speak to us on both conscious and unconscious levels. All of her paintings are created in oil on linen canvas.

A versatile and well-traveled artist, Synnøve also draws inspiration from around the world. She studied at the Mosebekk Drawing and Painting School in Oslo and was a student of Rigmor Holter, among others.
