Around Heddeland

A pleasant walk through varied nature. Partly along the river, across fields, and through small forests. An easy trail suitable for everyone. The route can be split in two for those who prefer a shorter and less demanding option. Much of the trail is accessible with a stroller.

Along the way, small signs provide information about the different tree species you’ll see. Educational for both kids and adults. At times, the trail runs alongside one of Southern Norway’s best salmon rivers – in the summer, you can spot eager anglers there.

There are several great rest areas along the trail, as well as a couple of idyllic swimming spots.
